The Mill
Fifty-four years on the Fraser, and still cutting.
In 1972, Max and Beverly Kucheran opened the doors — with, as Max liked to say, "only a stick and saw." Five decades later the mill is still family owned and operated, with sons Brian and Darren running the yard and the same customer-first attitude their parents built the business on.
Through tough economies and the Pine Beetle years, one thing never changed: customers never felt the impact. We're not a big-box yard and we don't want to be. When you call, you talk to someone who knows the saws, knows your order, and knows your name — that's how we've kept customers like Mitsui Homes Canada coming back year after year.

Your order is cut, checked against spec, and graded before it ever gets strapped. If it doesn't pass our eye, it doesn't leave our yard.

Pick Up or Delivery
Grab it at 340 Mercer St or have it delivered across the Lower Mainland. On the date we agreed to — that part isn't negotiable, even for us.

Quotes usually go out within 48 hours. Production time depends on the size and complexity of the run, but we commit to a delivery date up front and we hit it. Rush work? Call us — we've pulled off tighter deadlines than you'd think.
Yes — that's a big part of what we do. Bring us your product dimensions, load weight, and how it ships, and we'll spec a pallet that fits it. Standard 48×40s, heavy-duty, export skids, or something nobody's ever asked for before.
We deliver across New Westminster and the Lower Mainland, and you're always welcome to pick up at the yard at 340 Mercer St. Delivery timing is arranged when you place the order, so there are no surprises on either end.
